After proudly serving with the United States Marine Corps, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, between 1969 to 1972, George became a trial lawyer who would make a difference and contribution to helping people.
After more than three decades as a personal injury he continues to be driven by the satisfaction of helping clients to get the justice.
His passion for helping people to win justice is how he won the only jury verdict in history against the billion-dollar-a-year United States Blood Industry distributing AIDS contaminated blood to thousands of patients. George's investigation exposed an industry conspiracy and fueled a congressional investigation. This battle victory is widely reported in Snyder v. American Association of Blood Banks, 144 N.J. 269 (1996).
George founded Lance Capital Group, d/b/a Lance Lawsuit Funding to help plaintiffs with litigation financing who have pending cases. He presently is Lance's chief executive officer and oversees the funding committee and investor relations.
Dr. Marcus Conant is on the board of directors for Lance Capital Group, LLC. In addition, he sits on the Lance's medical malpractice funding committee. Dr. Conant is a graduate of Duke Medical School and served in the United States Airforce as flight surgeon. As a San Francisco dermatologist in the early 1980's he diagnosed the first AIDS cases and treated over 3000 AIDS patients. The University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health named him as Public Health Physician of the Year.
